A prerequisite for all Letter Create Workshops is the Basics Hand Letter Class.

This class translates into all forms of writing techniques including brush lettering, calligraphy, modern flourish script, paint lettering, to name a few.

This class is offered at all of our locations, retreats and part of any class that is a series.  You can also take this only this class if you want to – and still do well with online (youtube) classes – you will see how the basic skills and formation of this class translates to any and all lettering.

This is a basic class to learn the techniques of pressure, angle and direction of your writing instrument, types of papers and pens to consider, as well as the types of lettering.  You will learn the basic italic form of writing.

We also have light refreshments but you can bring something you love if you want!  This class will be at our Appleton Art Studio which is located at The Draw in Appleton (downtown Appleton).  Make sure you check out our upcoming art retreats and Milwaukee Art classes as well as our Madison art classes!
