Since its inception in 1978, Julia Cameron’s “The Artist’s Way” has been inspiring artists to realize their path to creativity. You’re never too old, or have too little time or too little money to be the artist, writer, poet, producer, dancer, singer, drummer you are truly destined to be.
Whether you’re an artist wanting to recover your inspiration or you simply desire more joy and creative adventure, life-changing experience is waiting for you! Even if you don’t see yourself as an artist, the workshop will help you get in touch with your creativity, your passions, and your dreams for your life. The 12 week workshop follows the 12 chapters of Julia Cameron’s book, The Artist’s Way.
In this Artist’s Way workshop, you’ll explore safety, identity, power, integrity, possibility, abundance, connection, strength, compassion, self-protection, autonomy, and faith. And although the workshop is in the context of being creative, it is really about living a full, passionate and authentic life.
You’ll break through your creative blocks, develop collaborative relationships, and connect with your creative flow.
No matter whether you’re new to The Artist’s Way or you’ve been using the book for many years, this workshop will widen your knowledge of how to use The Artist’s Way tools in all aspects of your creative life.
Whatever direction you want to take, The Artist’s Way will help you on that journey.
Students report that as a result of going through our Artist’s Way class they more fully and genuinely know themselves, they discover or re-discover their gifts and talents and have more fun and joy in their lives.
To quote Julia, “In order to retrieve your creativity, you need to find it.” The basic tools and the additional creativity exercises that we incorporate into the 12-week course can help you do just that.
